1962 Fender Stratocaster

History

This Stratocaster was found at an estate sale in rural Tennessee. The original owner played it regularly for decades, and the guitar shows the kind of honest wear that only comes from real playing time.

Condition

The three-color sunburst finish has faded gracefully. All three pickups are original and sound incredible — warm, articulate, and full of character. The neck has a comfortable C profile with a well-worn rosewood fretboard. Frets show moderate wear but still have plenty of life. Electronics are clean with no scratchy pots.

What Makes It Special

Pre-CBS Strats are the gold standard, and this one plays as good as it looks. The resonance you get from 60+ years of aged wood is something no reissue can replicate.
